HVA100 Blueprint Reading

Credits: 3

This course provides an introduction to blueprint drawings used in the trades and crafts, including basic techniques for reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications, both residential and commercial. The blueprint lab experiences focus on the location of HVAC-R components in a building, dimensions, shape, fabrication and assembly of those components. You will apply basic mathematics to the solution of print and performance problems.

Prerequisite: CCS123 or concurrently
